Removing the shadow of the gambling business is a clear success in 2023. This was said by the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, Daniil Getmantsev.
According to him, this has significantly increased budget revenues.
In particular, in 2023 the gambling business paid UAH 10.4 billion in taxes. This is 51 times higher than in 2021 and 14 times more than the previous year, 2022.
Getmantsev emphasized that only in December, the gambling business paid UAH 800 million in taxes. At the same time, for the whole of 2022, the budget received only UAH 730 million from him.
