“A surplus of electricity was recorded in the energy system. Ukraine transferred the surplus to neighboring Poland (from 11:00 to 13:00). The total volume reached 600 MWh,” the message said.
It was indicated that yesterday the import of electricity reached 11,641 MWh. And the electricity export for December 30-31 was 210 MWh.
The department assured that Ukraine’s energy system is now balanced, and there are eight power units in reserve that can be used if needed.

In total, as of Monday morning, 12 settlements were without electricity due to bad weather, all for more than a day: two settlements. – in the Kharkov region, 10 – in the Donetsk region.
Due to the fighting and other reasons, 416 communities remain without electricity in the morning. Emergency restoration work is carried out depending on the security situation and with the permission of the military.
