Kyivstar has started implementing updated cyber defense methods in cooperation with the SBU and the State Service for Special Communications.
Mobile operator Kyivstar all services in Ukraine and abroad have been restored. The president of the company, Alexander Komarov, said this in a telethon on Wednesday, December 20.
“We have resumed all services 100% throughout Ukraine, as well as abroad. The last service we restored was international roaming. We started on Monday and finished on Tuesday. All services Kievstar work without restrictions,” he assured.
According to Komarov, in a few days the data on the flow of subscribers will be known Kievstar with other mobile operators, because “there are still problems with internal monitoring systems.”
He noticed that in Kievstar made conclusions after the large-scale cyber attack and began implementing updated cyber defense methods in cooperation with the SBU and the State Service for Special Communications. The company also shared its experience in eliminating the consequences of a cyber attack with other Ukrainian technology companies.
Let’s remember this morning Kyivstar reported new problems with voice communications and mobile application operation in several cities in western and southern Ukraine. In particular, users complained about the quality of communication in Lviv, Rivne, Nikolaev, Kirovograd and Sumy regions.
