On the morning of Tuesday, December 19, the mobile operator Kyivstar resumed high-speed mobile Internet in the metropolitan areas of Kyiv and Kharkov. This was reported by the company’s press service.
“Kyivstar’s telecom network has practically entered a period of stabilization. Thus, 99% of base stations in the territory controlled by Ukraine are working, and all basic services are available to customers: communication and mobile services Internet, SMS, international voice roaming services and others,” – said the message.
It is indicated that the My Kyivstar information system, where subscribers can see account balances, has also resumed operation. Kyivstar stores provide most of the services to customers.
Now the company continues to improve Home Internet service in Kyiv and a number of other places, and also plans to gradually remove restrictions on mobile Internet speed in the near future.
Kyivstar specialists are working on the launch of high-speed mobile Internet roaming and plan to launch this service for Ukrainian subscribers in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and other countries in the near future.
“To stabilize the operation of the services, the company recruited all its technical staff, as well as international partners from Sweden, Ireland, USA, China, Finland and other countries,” the company added .
