The DTEK Energy company has completed a major overhaul and introduced into the energy system a power unit of one of the thermal power plants, which was severely damaged as a result of the massive attack by the Russians last winter. The company’s press service reported this on Monday, December 18.
“The power added to the network is already operational and load carrying is planned to increase to 150 MW in the near future,” the statement said.
DTEK clarified that so far, 24 power units in its thermal power plants have been repaired as part of the annual planned repair campaign.

“The updated capacities make it possible to strengthen the work of thermal generation during the heating season. Energy workers continue to do everything possible to maintain the reliable operation of the energy system in the conditions of fear of enemy energy,” the company assured.
It was previously reported that in January-November 2023, DTEK Energy thermal power plants produced 13.6 billion kWh of electricity.
