Today, December 18, the executive committee of the Lutsk City Council considered a draft decision on dismantling unused checkpoints. This was reported by the press service of the Lutsk City Council.
It is reported that at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in the community of Lutsk, checkpoints were set up on the main streets and roads, at the entrances to populated areas.
Sandbags, concrete blocks, used car tires, camouflage nets, etc. were used to make them. These checkpoints have not been used for a long time, and therefore appear to be neglected, the report said.
In early November, it was reported that 11 military personnel were killed as a result of road accidents at checkpoints.
