The hryvnia exchange rate did not change against the dollar in the cash market. At the same time, the euro exchange rate fell slightly, reports RBC-Ukraine, citing monitoring data on Monday, December 18.
So, the average dollar exchange rate did not change – 37.60 Hryvnia, the European currency fell by 10 kopecks – to 41.00 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 37.10 UAH, euros for 40.30 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate is at the level of 37.11-37.13 (buying and selling) – an increase of 9 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
The National Bank raised the dollar exchange rate to more than 37 Hryvnia. The euro exchange rate is fixed above 40 hryvnia.
The official exchange rate on December 18 is set at 37.0211 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.0298 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 40.5122 hryvnias per 1 euro (+0.0992 UAH).
We remind you that last week the National Bank sold the highest currency in two months. Overall, since the beginning of this year, the regulator has sold $26.95 billion in the interbank market, while buying only $218 million.
