On the left bank of the Kherson region, MTR fighters, together with the marines and the Security Service of Ukraine, destroyed the Russian TOS-1A “Solntsepok”. The enemy equipment was discovered by MTR operators, who subsequently attacked it together with soldiers of the 140th Separate Marine Reconnaissance Battalion and SBU specialists. The command of the Special Operations Forces reported this on Facebook.
It is noted that the Russians used this flamethrower system to repeatedly strike the positions of the Defense Forces in the Krynok area. However, after the fire defeat, the hostile target was destroyed.
Let us recall that in early December, soldiers of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Black Zaporozhets, as well as soldiers from the 74th separate reconnaissance battalion, destroyed the Russian “Solntsepok” on one of the sectors of the front.
