“From January 1, 2024, our company will have equal rights and obligations with energy system operators in European countries. Ukrainergo will vote at meetings of the highest governing body of ENTSO-E,” he wrote.
Kudritsky added Ukrainergo will have the fourth largest number of votes among the ENTSO-E energy system operators and will therefore influence the strategic development and operating rules of the pan-European energy network.
“Obtaining the legal status of a full member in ENTSO-E is the logical next step after ENTSO-E confirmed that the Ukrainian energy system complies with the main European technical requirements and the transition to permanent simultaneous operation in the European grid. This is not a stop – it is just the beginning of a new era in the energy sector of Ukraine and Europe “, the head stressed Ukrainergo.
He also said that the first initiative Ukrainergo The next ENTSO-E General Assembly will focus on creating a pan-European pool of critical materials and equipment to quickly restore the power grid, based on our experience in countering Russian missile and drone terrorism.
Earlier it became known that the Ukrainian energy system fully meets the technical requirements of ENTSO-E. Thus, the process of synchronizing the energy systems of our state and the EU has been completely completed.
