Ukraine’s NAPC included Nestle on the list of war sponsors because of its work in the Russian Federation. At the beginning of 2022, the company has 7 factories in Russia.
Skandinavian Airlines (SAS) has removed Nesquik drinks from its in-flight menu due to the inclusion of Nestle on the “list of war sponsors” in Ukraine. TV2 reported this on Monday, December 11.
“We confirm that we have removed Nesquik from our onboard assortment due to the inclusion of Nestlé in the Ukrainian list of war sponsors,” SAS said in a statement.
In addition, SAS abandoned Pepsi beverages. The company said it is in the process of contacting suppliers to clarify their position on the war in Ukraine.
“We are also in talks with a limited group of suppliers to understand their plans for the future,” the airline said.
It should be noted that the list of “International War Sponsors” is a tool of pressure on companies that continue to do business with Russia.
NAPC added the Swiss corporation Nestle to the list of international sponsors of the war, as the corporation’s businesses continue to operate in the Russian Federation, supplying goods there and expanding Russia’s production base.
We remind you that the previous NAPC included the Hungarian OTP Bank in the list of international sponsors of the war. This list also includes the Chinese company Xiaomi Corporation.
The NAPC identified the manufacturer of Mishka Barney and Milka as a sponsor of the war
