Almost 77 million tons of grain and oilseeds were threshed in Ukraine. The leaders in grain threshing are the farmers of the Vinnytsia region, who collected more than 5 million tons of grain.
On November 30, Ukrainian farmers threshed nearly 77 million tons of new crops. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
Specifically, 56 million 254.2 thousand tons of grain crops and 20 million 719 thousand tons of oilseeds were collected.
“Five regions of Ukraine have completed harvesting. These are the farmers of Vinnitsa, Kyiv, Odessa, Zaporozhye and Nikolaev,” the ministry said in a statement.
Harvesting of grains and leguminous crops was carried out in an area of 10,354 thousand hectares with a yield of 54.3 c/ha.
3 million 441 thousand hectares of corn were threshed with a yield of 75.8 c/ha, 26 million 79 thousand tons were threshed; wheat – 4,694.5 thousand hectares, with a yield of 47.9 c/ha, 22 million 478 thousand tons were threshed; barley – 1,504.5 thousand hectares with a yield of 39.3 c/ha, 5 million 909 thousand tons were threshed; peas – 154.4 thousand hectares with a yield of 25.9 c/ha, 399.5 thousand tons were threshed; buckwheat – 139.7 thousand hectares with a yield of 14.8 c/ha, 207.4 thousand tons were threshed; millet – 79.5 thousand hectares with a yield of 22.6 c/ha, 180 thousand tons were threshed; other grains and leguminous crops – 340.1 thousand hectares, 1,002 thousand tons threshed.
“The leaders in grain threshing are the farmers of the Vinnytsia region; they collected more than 5 million tons of grain. In the Poltava and Cherkassy regions, agricultural producers threshed 4 million tons of grain each,” the ministry clarified.
Oilseed crops were harvested in an area of 8,213 thousand hectares: sunflower was threshed in an area of 5,012.3 thousand hectares, 11 million 936 thousand tons of seeds were threshed with a yield of 23.8 c/ha; soybeans – in an area of 1,804.2 thousand hectares, 4 million 778 thousand tons were threshed with a yield of 26.5 c/ha, rapeseed – in an area of 1,396 thousand hectares, 4 million 5 thousand tons of seeds were threshed with a yield which is 28, 7 c/ha. Collection completed.
Sugar beets were dug in an area of 242.1 thousand hectares, 11 million 332.6 thousand tons were collected with a yield of 468.1 c/ha.

It was previously reported that yields in the occupied lands were on average more than 20% lower than in the free Ukrainian regions.
