The bridge will also be used by public transport bus route No. 111 – it will connect the Livoberezhnaya and Ploshchad Ukrainian Heroes metro stations.
Private vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians are prohibited from crossing the new bridge.
Let us note that the construction of the Podolsk-Voskresensky bridge is one of the largest long-term construction projects in Kyiv (since 1993).
Podolsko-Voskresensky Miss is one of the largest transport infrastructure facilities in Kyiv and Ukraine. The length of the bridge crossing is more than 10 km. So far, only the first part of the bridge has been opened. According to the plan, it should connect the section with the residential areas of Voskresenka, Raduzhny and Troeshchina. Also, a new metro line will run along it in the future.
