Daniil Getmantsev believes that Ukraine can lose an average of 9 billion hryvnias on the day of an air raid.
The damage for one day of the air raid for the Ukrainian economy is about 9 billion Hryvnia. This was stated by the head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, Danilo Getmantsev, on his Telegram channel on Friday, November 24.
Last year, the damage to the Ukrainian economy from the alarms reached 7 billion hryvnia per day. Given the nominally growing GDP, the number may also increase, the official believes.
“If we consider the losses related to the GDP, they are constantly increasing. But here we have to take into account the nominally growing GDP – according to the NBU, the GDP this year will reach UAH 6.63 trillion, ” explained the head of the parliamentary committee.
According to him, if we assume that during the alarm period half of the country’s economy stops, the damage for one day will reach a condition of 9 billion Hryvnia.
“This approach to calculations is approximate and may vary by region… However, it is still possible to estimate the approximate size of the losses in total added value,” Getmantsev concluded.
We remind you that the Air Force announced that the invaders are changing tactics during the air attack on Ukraine using attack drones. Recently, they have been launching drones in groups of several waves, leading to lengthy air raid alerts.
