The official dollar exchange rate on Thursday increased to UAH 36.06, and the euro exchange rate decreased to UAH 39.33.
The National Bank raised the official exchange rate of the dollar, which had previously fallen for five consecutive banking days. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Wednesday, November 22.
So, the official dollar exchange rate for Thursday is set at UAH 36.0675. for 1 dollar (+0.0222 UAH). In turn, the exchange rate of the euro dropped significantly and reached 39.3352 hryvnia per 1 euro (-0.1308 UAH).
In the interbank market today, the American currency fell in price by 1 kopeck, to 36.06-36.08 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
And in the cash market, the dollar is stable, and its exchange rate has not changed – 37.75 hryvnia per dollar.
We remind you that last week the National Bank increased sales of dollars significantly. The volume of sales in the interbank foreign exchange market was the largest this month.
And in October, Ukrainians bought a record amount of currency for 10 years. In turn, the NBU sold the largest amount of dollars in the interbank market since June last year.
