The total number of exports is lower than the previous marketing year, but the data for individual crops is almost the same.

In the 2023/2024 marketing year (from July 1), Ukraine has already exported 10.968 million tons of grains and legumes, the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports.

In particular, 5.225 million tons of wheat, 749 thousand tons of barley, 0.9 thousand tons of rye and 4.865 million tons of corn have been exported. In the last marketing year, in mid-November, Ukraine exported 15.566 million tons of grain and legumes, including: 5.969 million tons of wheat, 1.278 million tons of barley, 11.2 thousand tons of rye and 8.252 million tons of corn

During two weeks of November this year, Ukraine exported 1.728 million tons of grain and legumes (in 15 days of November last year – 2.363 million tons), including: 594 thousand tons of wheat (971 thousand tons in November of last year), 67 thousand tons of barley (172 thousand tons) and 1.061 million tons of corn (1.201 million tons). In November of this year, Ukraine did not export rye, but in the first 15 days of November last year, 5 thousand tons of rye were exported.

In addition, in the current marketing year, Ukraine exported 46 thousand tons of flour (previously, in mid-November – 46.2 thousand tons).

Let us remind you that this year Ukraine has already harvested about 74 million tons of crops. The agrarians of Zaporozhye and Nikolaev regions have completed the collection of all crops.

This year in Ukraine the harvest forecast has been improved several times. At the end of September, it was estimated at 79 million tons. This is +10% on last year’s result.
