Emirates plans to receive the first aircraft in August next year; general deliveries will last until early 2028.
Air carrier Emirates Airline at the Dubai Air Show on November 16 signed a contract to buy 15 A350-900 aircraft from Airbus for $6 billion, MarketWatch reports.
Thus, the total number of A350 aircraft ordered by the airline has reached 65. Emirates plans to receive the first aircraft in August next year, in general, deliveries will continue until the beginning of 2028.
We remind you that recently, as part of the air show, Emirates ordered 95 aircraft of the 777-9, 777-8 and 787 Dreamliner models from Boeing for $52 billion.
It was previously reported that Irish airline Ryanair announced a multi-billion dollar deal to buy 300 Boeing aircraft after 18 months of public debate over prices. Ryanair noted that the order would allow the company to almost double its traffic to 300 million passengers per year by March 2034.
