Most of the deposits of Ukrainians are in the state-owned PrivatBank – 362.5 billion Hryvnia, the National Bank notes.
As of October 1, 2023, 63 banks in Ukraine hold 1 trillion 4 billion hryvnias of funds from individuals (of which 637.7 billion hryvnias are available for demand). This is confirmed by data from the National Bank.
According to the NBU, the largest number of deposits is in the state-owned PrivatBank – 362.5 billion Hryvnia.
In second place is the state-owned Oschadbank – 179.5 billion Hryvnia, and in third place is the private Universal Bank – 56.1 billion Hryvnia.
They are followed by the bank of the foreign banking group Raiffeisen Bank – 55.6 billion hryvnias, the private FUIB – 44.4 billion hryvnias and the nationalized Sense Bank (formerly Alfa Bank) – 44.3 billion hryvnias.

As we have already written, in the past week the National Bank sold $389.1 million in the interbank market and also bought $1.26 million. Sales volume fell for the third week in a row.
It was also reported that Ukraine’s reserves were declining for the third month.
