The average cash dollar exchange rate in Ukraine fell to UAH 37.80, and the euro fell to UAH 40.75.
The hryvnia began to rise in price on the cash market against the dollar and euro. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Thursday, November 16.
Thus, the average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine decreased by 5 kopecks – to 37.80 UAH, the euro exchange rate also fell by 5 kopecks – to 40.75 UAH.
Today, exchange offices buy a dollar for an average of 37.30 UAH, and a euro for 40.05 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate was at the level of 36.26-36.28 (buying and selling) – an increase of 1 kopeck compared to the previous day’s close.
The National Bank lowered the official dollar exchange rate after three days of growth to the level of 36.2643 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.0528 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 39.3939 UAH per 1 euro (+0.4547 UAH).
We remind you that in the past week the National Bank sold $389.1 million in the interbank market and also bought $1.26 million. Sales volume fell for the third week in a row.
It was also reported that Ukraine’s reserves were declining for the third month.
