The official dollar exchange rate dropped to UAH 36.26, while the European currency rose to UAH 39.39.
The National Bank significantly increased the official exchange rate of the euro. The dollar price fell after three days of gains. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Wednesday, November 15.
Thus, the official exchange rate of the American currency is set at 36.2643 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.0528 UAH). But the euro exchange rate will be 39.3939 hryvnia per 1 euro (+0.4547 UAH).
In the interbank market today, the dollar fell by 7 kopecks – to 36.25-36.27 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate did not change – 37.85 hryvnia per dollar.
We remind you that in the past week the National Bank sold $389.1 million in the interbank market and also bought $1.26 million. Sales volume fell for the third week in a row.
It was also reported that Ukraine’s reserves were declining for the third month.
