The press service recalled that support for the Ukrainian army was implemented within the framework of the Steel Front military project.
“The Ukrainian Defense Forces systematically receives ammunition, vehicles, engineering structures, ambulances for military medical personnel, drones, thermal imagers, sights, walkie-talkies, cameras, clothing and shoes, first aid kits and turnstiles, fuel and other necessary items,” the message said.
According to the SCM, an additional 1 billion hryvnias have been allocated for the project to support the defenders of Mariupol – the Heart of Azovstal. In November, a pilot program for the House was launched, thanks to which defenders of the city with I and II groups of disabilities will receive their own housing. It is planned to buy 15 apartments in November-December, the press service specified.
“Ukrainians in the frontline zone and de-occupied regions receive systemic humanitarian assistance from Rinat Akhmetov’s businesses and projects. This includes food, clothing, household items, medicine, hygiene products, etc. Since since the beginning of the war, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has donated 700 thousand units of medicine to Ukrainians, more than 13 million product kits since 2014. Opened new projects to help the rehabilitation of the elderly, provide heater, help arrange dormitories for residents of Mariupol in the city of Dnepr,” the holding company said.
The SCM noted that the most important area of support for the country is the contribution to the current and future restoration of Ukraine. Investments are already being made in restoring damaged infrastructure, building new industries, creating new jobs, and attracting European investment to the country’s economy.
“In a separate personal decision, Rinat Akhmetov allocated 60 million hryvnias for 2023 to create a Plan for the Revitalization of Mariupol after de-occupation as part of the Mariupol.Reborn initiative. Within the framework of the project, work has also begun on the architectural transformation of Ukrainian schools together with the Ministry of Education at the initiative of the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov,” – added the company.
Earlier it became known that the Mine Action Center of the State Special Transport Service was opened in the Chernihiv region. It was built with the support of Metinvest group, part of Rinat Akhmetov structures.
