The NBU accepted the court’s decision and emphasized that the withdrawal of the insolvent PrivatBank from the market is carried out in accordance with the standards of the current law to ensure financial stability and preserve citizens’ funds.
“Now, six years later, the court confirmed the impossibility of returning to the former owners of PrivatBank, for further capitalization for which the state spent more than 155 billion UAH. It should also be noted that all decisions of state bodies on the nationalization of PrivatBank is valid,” said the head of the claims department of the legal department of the NBU Viktor Grigorchuk.
