Falling prices in Europe and falling demand have created conditions for cheaper fuel.
The average wholesale price for A-95 fuel for the week from November 6 to November 10 decreased by 0.75 UAH – to 45.25 UAH/l, for diesel fuel – by 1.25 UAH, to 47 UAH per liter. Enkorr reports this with reference to price tracking data from the A-95 Consulting Group market.
It was noted that in November the spread between wholesale and retail for A-95 gasoline reached 9.66 UAH/l, which creates the basis for reducing the price of this type of gasoline at filling stations.
At the same time, for diesel fuel the wholesale margin is about 2.59 UAH/l, and for pistol – 7.62 UAH/l, which is 1.74 UAH more than the figure for October.
According to analysts, the decrease in quotations in Europe and decrease in demand created the conditions for a reduction in the price of the most popular fuel brand in all market segments.
As noted by A-95 Consulting Group, wholesale fuel prices are falling, despite logistical problems. This is influenced by the decrease of quotations in Europe and sufficient amount of resources in the market. Despite the blocking of several checkpoints on the western border by Polish protesters, there is an oversupply in the southern region, which is reflected in the price.
We remind you that in October, large gas station chains continued to raise prices for gasoline and diesel fuel in Ukraine. On average, the cost increased by 40 kopecks.
As reported, in September, prices for gasoline and diesel fuel in gas station networks increased by almost 2.5 Hryvnia throughout the month.
