Owners of ruble accounts can withdraw their assets without commission on the CommEX platform.
One of the world’s largest crypto exchanges, Binance, has decided to introduce additional restrictions against Russia. This was stated in a company statement on Friday, November 10.
“Following the decision to leave Russia and in connection with the sale of the CommEX business, Binance will stop supporting fiat deposits in Russian rubles as of November 15, 2023,” the statement said.
It is noted that the withdrawal of Russian rubles is available until January 31, 2024.
The company said that users with fiat balances in Russian rubles can transfer their funds to the CommEX platform.
We remind you that in March, Binance banned dollar and euro transactions for Russians. This decision is explained by the restrictions within the tenth package of EU sanctions against the Russian Federation.
In September, it became known that the Binance exchange decided to leave the Russian market.
