According to the publication, Metinvest equipped bomb shelters at its businesses and evacuated about 20 thousand residents from Mariupol and Avdeevka. In order to provide shelter for the people, the company prepared more than 6,000 temporary accommodation places, and also provided basic necessities and medicines to the employees.
“Currently, more than 8,000 employees of Metinvest protect Ukraine, that is, every sixth employee. The company provides them with body armor, helmets and sets of winter clothes. Upon request, employees receive of pickup trucks, drones, mobile shelters, thermal imagers and other equipment to help defeat the enemy,” the statement said. article.
Journalists write that about 8,200 people from Mariupol and Avdeevka work at Metinvest enterprises in Pokrovsk, Zaporozhye, Krivoy Rog and Kamensky. Employees are given the opportunity to undergo free retraining.
“Metinvest finances the treatment for every mobilized and peaceful employee who is seriously injured, and helps employees who lost limbs in the war with prosthetics. 60 people take part in the company’s general program and Protez Hub, of which 20 are already received prosthetics worth up to €30 thousand and underwent rehabilitation,” said Forbes Ukraine.
It is said that in the summer the company found an opportunity to introduce an additional bonus for employees of production and repair businesses – it can reach 25% of salary per month.

We remind you that Metinvest paid UAH 6.3 billion in taxes for six months. And in the second quarter of this year, the group transferred more than 3.8 billion hryvnias to the state budget, which is 51% more than in the first quarter of the same year.
It is also known that during the 600 days of the war, the company sent 4.2 billion hryvnias to help Ukraine and remains one of the largest private donors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: it produces body armor, mobile shelters, armored shields for vehicles and “lancet catchers”, and also bought and gave them in front of about two thousand different drones.
