In the interbank market, the dollar exchange rate fell to 36.16 UAH/USD in the sale, and in the cash market the American currency fell to 37.75 UAH/USD.
The National Bank lowered the official dollar exchange rate on the last working day of the week, November 3. The price of the US currency also fell in the interbank market and in the cash market.
Thus, the official dollar exchange rate on November 6 was set at 36.1705 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.0954 UAH). In turn, the euro rose slightly in price and reached 38.7278 hryvnia per 1 euro (+0.0575 UAH).
In today’s interbank market, the dollar exchange rate immediately fell by 11 kopecks – to 36.14-36.16 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
In the cash market, the American currency fell by 5 kopecks to 37.75 hryvnia per dollar.
Let us remind you that in October, Ukrainians bought a record amount of money in 10 years. In turn, the NBU sold the largest amount of dollars in the interbank market since June last year.
As you know, at the end of August, the NBU allowed banks to sell non-cash money to the population in the amount of 50 thousand Hryvnias without additional obligations. After that, the money sales volume started to increase.
