The country’s government has extended export restrictions in connection with the Russian Federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine.
Japan has updated the list of goods banned from shipment to Russia. The export restrictions will take effect on June 17, the country’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said.
It was noted that the steps taken by Tokyo were a reaction to the current international situation around Ukraine.
The following are subject to export restrictions:

locomotives for railways and cars for the maintenance of railway lines;

bulldozer, mechanical excavator, boring machine and tunnel excavator;

steam generators and gas generators;
-
gas and vacuum pump, gas compressor, fan;

lifting, handling, loading or unloading machines, including conveyors;

transport vehicles and their parts;
-
weaving machines, spare parts and components for them;
-
measuring and controlling-Measuring equipment, parts for them and other goods.
Earlier, the Japanese government banned the supply of high-tech equipment to Russia, including 3D printers and quantum computers.
