Current gas reserves are 1.3 billion cubic meters more than planned according to the balance forecast of the Cabinet of Ministers.
As of November 1, gas reserves in underground storage facilities in Ukraine exceeded 16 billion cubic meters. The Ministry of Energy announced this on Wednesday, November 1.
“Natural gas reserves in underground storage facilities have reached 16.02 billion cubic meters,” the statement said.
The department emphasized that this is 1.3 billion more than planned according to the balance forecast of the Cabinet of Ministers.
We remind you that in September, Ukraine accumulated the planned amount of gas of 14.7 billion cubic meters ahead of schedule.
It was also reported that 40 foreign traders were transporting gas for storage in Ukraine.
