The average dollar exchange rate in exchange offices is 37.85 hryvnias on sale, and the euro is sold at 40.34 hryvnias.
The exchange rate of the Hryvnia fell slightly in the exchange offices after a significant increase. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Wednesday, November 1.
Thus, the average rate of the dollar in exchange offices increased by 3 kopecks and now reaches 37.85 Hryvnia for sales and 37.44 for purchases. Cash euros are now sold at 40.34 hryvnia, and bought at 39.88 hryvnia.
In the interbank foreign exchange market, the dollar exchange rate was almost unchanged compared to the closing of the previous session and was in the corridor of 36.24-36.26 (purchase and sale).
The official dollar exchange rate today is set at 36.2812 hryvnia per 1 dollar (-0.0847 UAH). The American currency was below this level even before the fixed rate was raised in July 2022, at 36.56 hryvnia.
The official euro exchange rate lost almost two kopecks and now stands at 38.5624 UAH per 1 euro (-0.01730 UAH).
We remind you that last week the NBU reduced the sale of foreign currency in the interbank market to $676 million. The regulator also bought $1.55 million.
In addition, last week the National Bank announced a sharp reduction in the discount rate.
