The net inflow of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Ukraine in January-August 2023 reached $2.9 billion. This was announced by the Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko.
According to him, the Ukrainian economy is gradually recovering.
“There are positive trends in almost all major sectors, including agriculture and industry. From the beginning of the year, the positive dynamics of foreign direct investment continued. In January-August, their net flow reached $2.9 billion,” said Sviridenko.
It was previously reported that the German government had received 30 applications for investment in Ukraine.
The World Bank insured the first investment projects in Ukraine against war risks.
