In the interbank foreign exchange market, the dollar fell by 10 kopecks to 36.23-36.25 (buying and selling).
The National Bank reduced the official dollar exchange rate to its lowest since July 2022. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Tuesday, October 31.
Thus, the official exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar on November 1 was set at 36.2812 hryvnia per 1 dollar (-0.0847 UAH). The euro fell in price by almost 2 kopecks – 38.5624 hryvnia per 1 euro (-0.01730 UAH).
In the interbank foreign exchange market, the dollar exchange rate decreased throughout the day today and decreased by 10 kopecks to 36.23-36.25 (purchase and sale).
In exchange offices, the cash dollar fell in price by 8 kopecks – to 37.82 UAH for sale and to 37.46 UAH for purchase. Euros were sold for 40.35 UAH, and bought for 39.88 UAH.
We remind you that last week the NBU reduced the sale of foreign currency in the interbank market to $676 million. The regulator also bought $1.55 million.
In addition, last week the National Bank announced a sharp reduction in the discount rate.
