The SPFU sold the state’s prosthetic enterprise

Khmelnitsky State Experimental Prosthetic and Orthopedic Enterprise can produce about 300 types of prostheses and has its own hospital.

On October 26, the State Property Fund successfully held an online privatization auction for the sale of the Khmelnitsky State Experimental Prosthetic and Orthopedic Enterprise. This was reported by the press service of the State Property Fund.

During the auction, the value of the asset increased by 29.4% – from UAH 24.7 million to UAH 32 million.

LLCs compete in the auction Tandem Trading and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. The winner is the LLC Tandem Trading.

The new owner must pay 6.4 million UAH. VAT and obliged to maintain the business profile for 10 years.

“The result is the attraction of investments and new technologies in this area. And this is an expansion of opportunities for citizens who need prosthetics,” the Foundation emphasized.

In addition, the new owner must pay the business debts to the budget and wages, and not fire workers within six months.

“Khmelnitsky State Experimental Prosthetic and Orthopedic Enterprise can produce about 300 types of prosthetics and has its own hospital. However, 2022 ended with a loss of 500 thousand UAH, and in the first six months of 2023 only made a profit it by 36 thousand UAH. Current accounts payable are more than UAH 4.18 million,” the State Property Fund said in a statement.

We remind you that in the first quarter of this year, the State Property Fund got a record amount for 10 years. Logistics, trade, warehouse, and liquor assets are up for auction.

In six months, the SPF got UAH 1.82 billion from the state budget.
