Harvesting of rice and leguminous crops has been done in an area of 8.849 million hectares with a yield of 49 c/ha.
By the end of October, Ukrainian farmers had threshed 63.2 million tons of new crops, of which 43.4 million tons were grain crops and 19.6 million tons were oilseeds. This was announced by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on Friday, October 27.
It is indicated that the harvesting of grains and leguminous crops is carried out in an area of 8.849 million hectares with a yield of 49 c/ha, specifically:

4.69 million hectares of wheat were threshed (yield – 47.6 c/ha), 22.4 million tons were threshed;

1.94 million hectares of corn were threshed (yield – 68.4 c/ha), 13.32 million tons were threshed;
-
1.5 million hectares of barley were threshed (yield – 39.2 c/ha), 5.89 million tons were threshed;
-
154.4 thousand hectares of peas were threshed (yield – 25.8 c/ha), 398.2 thousand tons were threshed;
-
138.1 thousand hectares of buckwheat were threshed (yield – 14.9 c/ha), 205.6 thousand tons were threshed;
-
78.6 thousand hectares of millet were threshed (yield – 22.7 c/ha), 178.4 thousand tons were threshed;
-
332.5 thousand hectares of other grains and leguminous crops were threshed, 964.9 thousand tons were threshed.
At the same time, oilseed crops were collected in an area of 7.8 million hectares: 11 million tons of sunflower seeds were threshed; soybeans – 4.5 million tons; rapeseed – 4 million tons.
The collection of sugar beets also continues; they were dug in an area of 155.4 thousand hectares – 7.3 million tons of sweet root with a yield of 472.1 c/ha.
It was learned that farmers in the Zaporozhye region have completed harvesting this year’s entire crop.
Let us remind you that this year in Ukraine the harvest forecast has been improved several times. At the end of September, it was estimated at 79 million tons. This is +10% on last year’s result.
