At the same time, Igor Kolomoisky remained the ultimate beneficial owner of the 1+1 media group of companies.
Businessman Igor Kolomoisky transferred his corporate rights to the 1+1 media group of companies for five years under the management of the workforce represented by the current general director Yaroslav Pakholchuk. The corresponding statement was addressed to the 1+1 media workforce and the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting, according to the group’s website on Thursday, October 26.
“I have made a decision to transfer the rights of the corporation that I own to the management of collective labor, represented by Yaroslav Valerievich Pakholchuk, General Director of LLC TV and Radio Company Studio 1+1, who, as a representative, is will act in the interests of the companies and on behalf of the labor collective,” Kolomoisky said in a statement.
The document states that the powers to manage the rights of the corporation provide for the manager’s ability to make on his own behalf any necessary decisions, except for the removal and/or seizure of the corporate rights of ownership. -owned by Kolomoisky and receiving dividends.
At the same time, this transfer of corporate rights will not lead to a change in the real beneficial owner of the 1+1 media group; the decisive influence (control) remains with Kolomoisky.
In addition, the statement claims that Kolomoisky, who is in a pre-trial detention center, cannot fully exercise his powers. Therefore, these responsibilities have been assigned to Pakholchuk, who has been leading 1+1 media since 2019.
Let us remind you that since the beginning of September, Igor Kolomoisky has been told of suspicions three times. On September 2, the Shevchenko District Court of Kyiv arrested him for 60 days with the possibility of posting record bail, which was later increased. The Court of Appeal affirmed this decision.
Also on September 8, Kolomoisky’s billion-dollar property was temporarily seized. But later it was learned that the court refused to seize the properties further.
