Since the end of September, 625 additional vehicles with fuel have been delivered to DTEK Energy thermal power plants.
DTEK Group has already imported about 40 thousand tons of coal from the planned 210 thousand tons for a stable heating season. This was announced by the General Director of DTEK Energy Ildar Saleev on Facebook on Friday, October 20.
“Our miners extract coal 24/7 for the stable operation of thermal power plants during the heating season. Ukrainian coal is priority No. 1 for us, and the proof of this is the investment of 7.4 billion hryvnia, which we are investing in our coal business by the end of this year.” , he said.
Saleev said that additional quantities of imported coal are needed to protect against possible shelling by the enemy.
According to him, since the end of September, 625 additional cars with gasoline have been delivered to the DTEK Energy thermal power plant. This is more than 38 thousand tons of coal for the Ukrainian thermal power plant in the winter.
In total, during the entire heating season, the company plans to import about 210 thousand tons of coal from Poland.
We remind you that DTEK spent a record 20 billion Hryvnias on preparation for the heating season. The company’s thermal generation readiness reached 84%.
It is also reported that the energy holding has built up a reserve of equipment and materials in the event of a new Russian shelling in the winter. 1.3 billion hryvnias were spent for these purposes.
