Currently there are 63 banks operating in Ukraine. Currently, the state-owned Oschadbank has the most branches – 1182.
As of October 1, 2023, there are 5,098 branch structures of banks operating in Ukraine, which is 238 branches less than at the beginning of the year. This is confirmed by data from the National Bank.
In total, 63 banks operate in Ukraine. This year, it was decided to liquidate four banks, all of which have 150 branches: Ibox Bank (69), Ukrstroyinvestbank (50), Forward (17) and Concord (10).
Today the state-owned Oschadbank has the most branches – 1182. In October, it regained leadership in the number of branches, whereas last year it was less than another state-owned bank – Privatbank.
Privatbank closed 79 branches and now has 1,131 units.
Next are the banks of foreign banking groups: Raiffeisen Bank (329) and UkrSibbank (222). FUIB closed out the top five (221).
Let’s recall that the banking sector of Ukraine in January-June 2023 received a net profit of UAH 67.6 billion.
