The state itself sets the task of adapting legislation in the field of European regulation, as well as providing support to agricultural producers.
According to the forecasts of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, in 2023, milk production in Ukraine will decrease by 300-400,000 tons. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotsky, writes the press service of the ministry.
“In 2022, milk production will decrease by almost one million tons. According to the forecast for 2023, the reduction will be at the level of 300-400,000 tons. In industrial production, an increase of 100-150,000 tons is expected. The these are positive signs, despite severe difficulties, the dairy sector is developing with confidence,” said the deputy minister.
Vysotsky noted that the state itself sets the task of adapting legislation in the field of European regulation, as well as providing support to agricultural producers. We are talking about financial support: milk producers can receive a grant of up to UAH 8 million for processing raw materials. In addition, information and advisory trainings are conducted for agricultural producers.
“Ukraine has experience in successfully exporting dairy products to the EU. After adapting Ukrainian legislation to EU standards, this market will expand. Also, the Ukrainian consumer who consumes safe and high-quality products will benefit greatly,” the official added.
Let’s remember that in the spring it was reported that Ukraine increased milk production.
