Two more bulk carriers are now on their way to Ukraine’s Black Sea ports – Ida and Mariner.
Two more bulk carriers left Greater Odessa ports along a temporary corridor. They can carry about 150 thousand tons of cargo, the Center for Transport Strategies (CTS) reported on Thursday, October 19.
Now the bulk carriers Xin Shun with a deadweight of 75.8 thousand tons and Peter S, with a deadweight of 71.5 thousand tons, are moving along the corridor. It is known that the latter is under loading at the port of Chernomorsk.
At the same time, two more ships were heading to Ukrainian ports – the Ida with a deadweight of 18.2 thousand tons and the Mariner with a deadweight of 56.8 thousand tons.
It is indicated that the bulk carrier Ida already had experience in October entering and leaving Ukrainian ports along the new corridor.
Earlier this week it was reported that along the new route announced by Ukraine, 33 ships entered the ports of the Odessa region, and 24 left. A total of 57 ship passages in both directions were recorded.
We remind you that, unlike the previous grain corridor, ships traveling along the new corridor will not only carry agricultural products, but also other cargo – metal and container
