Holding businesses donated various military equipment and vehicles, and clothing, medicine and food for the needs of war victims.
DTEK Group has sent more than 1.1 billion hryvnias in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and for humanitarian purposes. DTEK General Director Maxim Timchenko announced this at a press conference.
“We understand how important it is to maintain unity in the face of the enemy. From the first day of a massive offensive, we have provided comprehensive support to our defenders and those affected by the war. 1.1 billion hryvnias have been allocated for this,” he says.
According to Timchenko, the company buys and transfers various equipment for the military – body armor, quadcopters, walkie-talkies. Military assistance includes more than 200 vehicles from DTEK’s own fleet.
The holding’s businesses also regularly provide warm clothes, medicine and food packages to war victims.
DTEK works closely with authorities and local governments to provide assistance to Ukrainian defenders and local communities as efficiently as possible.
We remind you that since the beginning of a massive war, DTEK energy workers have continued electricity supplies to 9 million consumers.
The energy holding also explained how migrants work. More than 80% of them joined DTEK Energy’s coal mining businesses.
