The company has equipped its thermal power plants and mines with backup power sources.
DTEK Group has created a stockpile of equipment in the event of new Russian attacks during winter warming. 1.3 billion hryvnias have been allocated for these purposes, the company’s CEO Maxim Timchenko said at the Kyiv International Economic Forum on Thursday, October 12.
“We have done and will do everything possible to prevent the enemy from plunging us into darkness. To do this, we have built a reserve of critical equipment worth 1.3 billion hryvnias to be returned in the event of new attack,” he said.
Timchenko assured that DTEK also supplied its thermal power plants and mine with backup power sources. For this purpose, the company has purchased more than 200 powerful generators.
“Like a year ago, the entire energy industry must unite. Only through unity will we overcome the next winter and not let the enemy plunge us into darkness,” the head of DTEK emphasized.
We remind you that DTEK spent a record 20 billion Hryvnias on preparation for the heating season. In particular, 7.4 billion Hryvnia – for the production of coal for thermal power plants and 3.9 billion Hryvnia – for the repair of power plants. The company’s thermal generation readiness reached 84%.
