The press services of the SBU and the Office of the Prosecutor General reported this today, October 12.
The security service has documented new crimes of pro-Kremlin propagandist Diana Panchenko, who promotes Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, the security service notes.
It is noted that after working on sanctioned TV channels, she went to temporarily occupied Donetsk to continue information and subversive activities in favor of the aggressor country.
In particular, it was established that from October 2022 to the present, Panchenko, on instructions from Moscow, has been facilitating the military-political leadership of the Russian Federation in subversive activities against Ukraine:
- systematically justifies Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, supports and promotes the occupation of regions of our state, and also manipulatively covers the military-political situation in Ukraine and calls on our fellow citizens not to resist the occupiers;
- Panchenko systematically presents materials of this content on his own YouTube channel, which has almost 1 million users;
- Panchenko distributes propaganda stories and publications through a network of pro-Kremlin Tekegram channels.
Since Panchenko is hiding from justice, comprehensive measures are ongoing to bring her to justice, the SBU emphasizes.
Earlier, in January of this year, Panchenko was informed of suspicion of justifying, recognizing as lawful, denying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code).
