TOP 5 new electric vehicles in September include Volkswagen ID.4, Volkswagen ID.6, Toyota BZ4X, Honda E, BYD Yuan Plus.
In September of this year, Ukrainians bought 2.7 times more electric cars than a year earlier, and 12% more than in August. This was reported by the Association of Automobile Manufacturers of Ukraine (Ukravtoprom).
It was noted that in September, the Ukrainian vehicle fleet was replenished with 4,298 battery-powered vehicles (BEV).
The majority of electric vehicles registered in the month were passenger cars – 4,215 units, of which 769 units were purchased new and used – 3,446 units. Of the 83 commercial electric vehicles, only six are new.
As reported, the TOP 5 new electric vehicles in September included Volkswagen ID.4 – 350 units, Volkswagen ID.6 – 66 units, Toyota BZ4X – 51 units, Honda E – 49 units. and BYD Yuan Plus – 19 units.
Among used cars, the biggest demand is for Nissan Leaf – 590 units, Volkswagen e-Golf – 433 units, Tesla Model 3 – 405 units, Tesla Model Y – 247 units. and Renault Zoe – 194 units.
Auto Industry also noted that in January-September 2023, almost 24.2 thousand electric vehicles passed their first registration in Ukraine, which is 2.7 times higher than in the same period last year. The share of new cars increased from 15% to 20%.
We remind you that over the year the demand for used cars in Ukraine has increased by 34%.
