The NBU clarified that these coins continue in the series “Ukrainian heritage“.
The design of the coin was developed by the honored artist Nikolai Kochubey, whose works have an expressive Ukrainian style. The obverse of the coins depicts a warm, cozy composition: the hostess, a Ukrainian woman against the backdrop of the stove while preparing borscht. On the contrary, in the middle, there is a plate of red borscht, the National Bank said.

The sale of coins in the NBU online store will begin on October 4, 2023.
