Families whose payment for housing and community services is more than the mandatory payment set for them may receive a housing subsidy.
The Cabinet of Ministers approved the automatic reassignment of subsidies for Ukrainians this year. Prime Minister Denis Shmygal announced this on Telegram on Friday, September 29.
“Thanks to the digitization of processes, all subsidies this year will be automatically allocated. Those who need subsidies and have not received them before can apply online through the Diyu or Pension Fund website,” said the Prime Minister. .
According to Shmygal, despite the widespread war, the government has not delayed the payment of pensions, social benefits, benefits and subsidies.
“During this period, we have already carried out two indexations of pension payments. Another one will take place in March 2024. Next year it is also planned to increase the minimum wage – up to 8,000 hryvnias. At the same time, tariffs remain of the utility. does not change until the end of the heating season,” – said the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Let’s remember that according to the survey, the majority of Ukrainians (60%) felt their own economic situation in the last six months, for 35% it did not change, only 5% felt improvement.
