Another overland railway corridor will soon be opened for the export of Ukrainian grain.
In the near future, Ukraine plans to open another land rail corridor for the export of Ukrainian grain. Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said this in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
“We have now opened an alternative “grain corridor”, we are testing it. We will also open another overland railway corridor. That is, the fact that we continue to increase the capacity of all corridors combined is an absolute fact,” he says .
Answering the question of whether the subject of the operation of the Black Sea Grain Initiative is still relevant, the minister said that “hope dies last.”
“Hope is the last to die, I will say this. The Black Sea Grain Initiative is the last to die. But it is clear that we still need to make alternative solutions, and we are making them successfully,” the Ukrainian leader Foreign Ministry emphasized.
Let’s recall that Ukraine previously announced the creation of a temporary corridor in the Black Sea to free ships stuck in its ports after a mass attack in February 2022.
In recent days, two ships – Resilient Africa and Aroyat – entered and left Ukrainian ports with 20 thousand tons of grain for Asian and African countries. They broke the Russian blockade.
