The average rate of the dollar in exchange offices fell to 38.20 UAH, and the euro rate fell to 40.90 UAH.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia began to rise in exchange offices after two days of decline. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Wednesday, September 27.
So, the average dollar exchange rate decreased by 10 kopecks – to 38.20 UAH, and the euro exchange rate immediately fell by 15 kopecks – to 40.90 UAH.
In exchange offices they buy a dollar for an average of 37.70 Hryvnia, and a euro for 40.20 Hryvnia.
The official fixed exchange rate of the NBU dollar since July 21 last year is 36.5686 hryvnia per dollar. The official euro exchange rate today has slightly decreased and is now 38.7609 hryvnia per euro (-0.1115 hryvnia).
Earlier, the Ministry of Finance expressed concern about the strong Hryvnia. After that, its rate started to decrease.
It was also learned that the National Bank sold a record volume of foreign currency in the interbank market in two weeks.
