Ukraine’s total nuclear power generation capacity is 6,400 MW, Energoatom said.
Seven power units of nuclear power plants located in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities are operating at full capacity. It was reported by Energoatom on Monday, September 25th.
“SE NAEC Energoatom brought all seven currently operating nuclear power units to maximum capacity, previously limited by market conditions, adding 300 MW of capacity to the domestic energy system,” the statement said.
It is noted that the total nuclear generation capacity is 6,400 MW.
In addition, nuclear scientists are conducting start-up operations on another power unit, which will also be commissioned. Reloading is complete.
We remind you that Ukraine is actively exporting electricity. In the last 24 hours, exports to Slovakia and Moldova reached 4,390 MWh, with peak power of up to 389 MW at certain times.
