If a company purchases a demining service through Prozorro, it will receive a corresponding certificate from an officially licensed operator, and in this case the state will fully or partially cover the costs.
In Ukraine, a mechanism was developed to compensate farmers and strategic enterprises for mine clearance costs. Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal said this at a government meeting.
Humanitarian demining services are available for purchase through Prozorro.
“Ukraine will launch a market for humanitarian demining services through Prozorro. In particular, we are developing a mechanism for paying farmers and strategic enterprises for the costs of demining,” said Shmygal .
The Prime Minister explained: if a company buys a demining service through Prozorro, it receives this service and the corresponding certificate from an officially licensed operator, and in this case the state will fully or partially return the expenses.
“This should significantly speed up the land clearing process if possible. In the draft budget for 2024, we included UAH 2 billion for humanitarian demining,” Shmyhal added.
It was previously reported that a mine clearance machine was created in Ukraine.
