Starlink’s first mini antenna is designed for portability. The second antenna that SpaceX submitted for FCC approval is an updated standard Starlink antenna.
The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved SpaceX’s application for two new antenna models for the transmission of Starlink satellite communications. Teslarati reported it.
It is noted that the first Starlink mini-antenna was designed for portability. Measuring 29x25cm, it will allow consumers to enjoy the benefits of high-speed, low-latency broadband wherever they live or work, including in rural and remote areas where mobile or portable applications.
The second antenna that SpaceX submitted for FCC approval is an updated standard Starlink antenna. Measuring 57 x 36 cm, it offers “a high-performance solution for consumers that enhances the fixed user terminal models previously authorized by SpaceX Services.”
We remind you that SpaceX has recently deployed 22 Starlink satellites into orbit.
It was previously reported that there was a global failure in the Starlink operation.
