Two days ago, the ship Resilient Africa left the Ukrainian port of Chernomorsk with 3 thousand tons of wheat.
The bulk carrier Resilient Africa has arrived in the Turkish Bosphorus Strait. It is the first ship with grain from Ukraine to pass through the Black Sea along the temporary corridor, Reuters reported on Thursday, September 21.
Two days ago, the ship left the Ukrainian port of Chernomorsk with 3 thousand tons of wheat and broke the Russian blockade.
Moreover, it was the first of two ships that entered Chernomorsk last week along the temporary corridor established by the Ukrainian Navy for civilian ships.
A second ship, the bulk carrier Aroyat, was in port loading wheat for Egypt. In total, two ships must transport 20 thousand tons of agricultural products.
The corridor previously established by the navigation command of the Ukrainian Navy was used to evacuate the ships that were in the ports of Chernomorsk, Odessa and Yuzhny at the time of the full invasion of the Russian Federation. Since August 15, five ships have used the temporary corridor.
Let’s recall that in July the Kremlin announced its withdrawal from the grain agreement, which was valid for one year and allowed the export of Ukrainian food from Black Sea ports.
After that, Russia began attacking southern Ukraine and destroying port infrastructure involved in the grain deal. But recently, Russian ships have also suffered many attacks.
