The cheapest land in the Kherson region is 23 thousand UAH per hectare. The most expensive land is in the Lviv region. The cost of land there is 132 thousand UAH per hectare.
In Ukraine, more than two years of open market and in mid-September, 365 thousand hectares were sold under sales contracts. During the entire period of the open land market, 448 thousand hectares were alienated. This was reported by the platform for working with opendatabot data, citing the results of the Monitoring of Land Relations study.
The cheapest land since the opening of the market is in the Kherson region – 23 thousand UAH per hectare. The most expensive land is in the Lviv region. The cost of land there is 132 thousand UAH per hectare.
It was noted that the largest amount of land was inherited in two years – 828 thousand hectares. More than half (203 thousand hectares) were sold within the first eight months, even before the massive invasion began.
Reportedly, some market recovery has been observed since February 2023, and in the summer, a decrease was recorded both in the number of transactions and in the area of land sold.
This may be due to the expectations of expanding the circle of land buyers, since from 2024 legal entities will also be able to buy land.
The average area of a purchase and sale transaction is 2.2 hectares. The average transaction price is 39-45 thousand UAH.

We remind you that in Ukraine from July 1, 2021 to July 1, 2023, 1% of agricultural land was sold.
Previously, the State GeoCadastre said who had access to information about the land.
